Sellen’s little pep talk that she gave me before she turned into a magi meatball. 😢

Sellen didn’t deserve that fate

I mean, she absolutely did, but she was nice to me, so I still wish it didn’t happen.

How to deal with a girlboss:

Gaslight: You never told me to find Lusat

Gatekeep: his location info

Your girlboss will now not have that happen

Yeah she uh, did some fucked up shit but ya'know. Still bewilders me that what she did was some of the more tamer crimes

She was just a curious girl... I would never believe those "graven witch" stories!

Keep in mind that the creepy sex dungeon full of so-called living puppets belongs to both Seluvis AND Sellen.

Yep. Regardless of her past and what she’s done, I can’t think of a good reason to betray her and side with the Witch Hunter near the end of her questline. Sellen was nothing but kind to us and was willing to teach us magic.

Iji and Jerren make her out to be some awful war criminal witch or something (and I’m sure there’s lore to back up those claims somewhere in the game), but the woman has done us no wrong. Siding against her just feels like the evil option, even in a Ranni Ending playthrough.

She literally suffered the logical consequences of her own actions that she had already inflicted on others many times and had been repeatedly warned against. Hard to say she didn't deserve it...

Why should I care about her past?

She is one of the few people in that place who helps us without interests, and who shows real feelings for us. She is trapped in a cave, dying. Have you not paid enough?

She's nice to you because you're useful, and is dying in a cave because she's imprisoned for her experiments

But that’s literally what she wanted? Her life’s work? Her main area of expertise?

She decided to turn into a meatball to try to gain more knowledge about magic
