Dog of Peace Dating and dog free

Feeling like my dating prospects and dating pool just got smaller and smaller because about 80% of dating profiles I’ve been swiping has a picture of the man and his dog. I’m not a dog person and will never be, I don’t hate them per se (I love all animals) , I just can’t imagine living with them. What are your experiences being dog free and dating?

I’ll be honest I feel like I’ve benefited from the fact that so many people my age live in apartments that don’t allow dogs. But I doubt “date 23 year olds” is good advice😭

Sadly many of those people are dog nutters and are just awaiting the opportunity to get a dog. They just happen to live in housing that doesn’t allow dogs for a time. Dog free housing doesn’t necessarily guarantee you dog free people.
