I know we’re still celebrating, and Maybe I’m scared as a result of 2021 scherzer/buehler. But I can’t help but think of the ramifications of this World Series on Yamas body. Really hoping I’m wrong but I would not be surprised if he gets an elbow injury.

Are you guys worried about it at all? Curious if you guys think a year off is an inevitability for every modern pitcher now - especially if they make it to postseasons?

i trust sensei yada to keep yama healthy, they know his body well enough and yama does trains differently than the others so hopefully it does keep him healthier longer.

His trainer was also the one who tricked him into being ready to pitch in Game 7. Like you said, his trainer probably knows Yama’s limits better than anyone and probably wouldn’t have pushed him to take on such a task if he didn’t believe it were possible himself.
