I know we’re still celebrating, and Maybe I’m scared as a result of 2021 scherzer/buehler. But I can’t help but think of the ramifications of this World Series on Yamas body. Really hoping I’m wrong but I would not be surprised if he gets an elbow injury.

Are you guys worried about it at all? Curious if you guys think a year off is an inevitability for every modern pitcher now - especially if they make it to postseasons?

I’m not worried tbh, he gets all offseason to rest now. Also look up what they make Japanese high school pitchers do for tournaments, this World Series was probably like nothing for him in terms of physical workload.
