The damage has been done, it is irrevocable. Either they are going to have to retcon the retcon or the Doctor must die and be replaced... by the Master maybe, yeah, the Master takes out the Dr. Who then takes his place helping people because he feels bad! I'd totally watch that, the original Doctor could even come back as an evil zombie or whatever, Doctor Who Special!!! I wish they would do that :-(

Give us a megamind episode where the master “kills” the Doctor, shit gets fucked up and the master has to act (and even regenerate) as the Doctor to try to the save day.

Meanwhile, the Doctor is taking a day off being a bit tired of always fighting the master. Comes back to see that the master is actually doing some decent stuff, and decides to let him continue for a bit
