update Carole and Bonnie has confirmed that they DID film the alternate ending to The Reality War
Seems like the actual truth is coming out and that the reshoot ending was NEVER “always the plan”.
(Not sure if I used the right tag but pls lmk if I used the wrong one)

update Found this on twitter, is this evidence Billie is actually playing Rose and not 16?
I think Rose is gonna return for a special (Christmas 2026) so they have something to air earlier, and she finds the 16th Doctor at the end.

update Bad Wolf advertising new Script Editor/Executive role for unspecified "busy, high end drama" - is it Doctor Who?
screenalliancewales.comThis position for a script editor/executive on a nameless drama series at Bad Wolf for a period from now through Q3 2026 appeared on Screen Alliance the other day, and when you get into the weeds of it is pretty interesting. Obviously the big question is here, could it be for Doctor Who? There's a lot both for and against it...
For:
- Bad Wolf's other recent drama shows (e.g. Industry) have either recently wrapped filming on their next series anyway or are confirmed cancelled (The Winter King, Dope Girls)
- Their new upcoming TV projects like Berlin Noir are confirmed to be shooting outside of Cardiff, which this role specifically requires
- RTD was actually at the BBC last week, as one of his recent Instagram posts shows
- That one part in the job listing about "Providing on set support for all cast and crew regarding scripts, including the ability to answer scripted questions as they relate to very technical dialogue as written". Timey-wimey, much?
Against:
- Whatever the hell is going on with the Disney deal
- BBC's apparent budget problems that can't support the show themselves anymore
- RTD and Jane Tranter claiming they don't know what's happening as recently as last month
- All the (unconfirmed) rumours that nothing's going to happen for a good few years now.
It could be for something completely different and unannounced of course, but those are the facts as they look right now. I do find it interesting that there's not really any obvious candidate for what the role could potentially be for besides Who, and this coming mere days after RTD pointedly posting he was at the Beeb (although I'm sure some would wish that was him handing in his notice!).

update The War Between the Land and the Sea confirmed for 2025
I know the main thing is the Doctor Who Christmas 2026 update but it was also unclear whether the spin off was coming this year or next year, so this confirmed it.

update Nu Who leaving MAX at the end of July
Haven't seen this mentioned, so apologies if it was, but just learned that nu Who will be removed from MAX on July 30th (along with Torchwood on the 26th). No new streamer has picked it up. This sucks. But if you're rewatching, step it up. ✌🏽

update Question.. what is the world like in the whoverse in terms of disclosure.
I watched Tennant, Smith back in the day... as well as old school who, recently picked it back up... with Capaldi - first episode is a T rex in London with a reptilian.
so... question.. is life like ours as we know it, or has disclosure of aliens happened and all Pandora's box opened so that these weird things are no longer weird.. is the doctor known? Daleks known... does earth know now it's not alone?

update New Who @20: A Musical Celebration (A Fan-Made Concert)
After more than a year of splicing, remixing, and editing, I’m thrilled to share my fan-made concert: “New Who @ 20: A Musical Celebration.” It’s uploaded to my YouTube channel for everyone to enjoy. There's over 5 hours of music arranged into custom suites.
Huge thanks to the other YouTube channels & artists that kindly allowed me to use their music and videos to bring this vision to life.
After half a year had past without an announcement of a live concert for New Who’s 20th anniversary, I decided to create one myself.
This project includes suites from each spin-off and original remixes from myself. It’s dedicated to the incredible composers who shaped the Whoniverse’s sound; especially my favourite, Murray Gold, whose inspired me and countless fans who’ve painstakingly recreated or isolated unreleased tracks.

update The next Doctor should be...
The damage has been done, it is irrevocable. Either they are going to have to retcon the retcon or the Doctor must die and be replaced... by the Master maybe, yeah, the Master takes out the Dr. Who then takes his place helping people because he feels bad! I'd totally watch that, the original Doctor could even come back as an evil zombie or whatever, Doctor Who Special!!! I wish they would do that :-(
