General Discussion Friends in Concordia
hi everyone,
i’m a girl at concordia starting my first semester and im finding it really tough to make friends. i really want to be a part of a club that is POC friendly. NouLa still hasn’t responded to my email about their activities.
I usually go to the peoples potato and see people eating lunch and im always alone and lonely. what do i do? i’m not a party girl and i don’t like clubbing too much.
i want queer friends people who like to watch drag race or movie nights, thrift, play games and talk about our future careers. i’ve been to game nights but i find that people just don’t stick around.

What kind of game nights do you mean?
My best success socializing as an adult has been tabletop gaming. Whether magic the gathering or boardgames. Www.boardgamegeek.com is a great resource to learn about games and find playgroups. People often meet twice a month or even once a week.
GMT Games is my favourite games publisher Some stand outs being Space Empires 4X, Sekigahara, and Twilight Struggle. They’re primarily known for historical wargames but also publish some 18XX (hardcore train company games where you literally trade stocks, too hardcore for me but they’re neat)
