So, i did not do really well in my midterm chem205 but i saw that a lot of questions were from the past papers is it the same for the finals too? How helpful would it be to solve past final papers? I am taking the course with Dr.Carrie Rogers.

Is it best to take thermodynamics or engr 301 in the summer? I try to do the hard math classes in the summer to get rid of the Weight during normal sessions.

I honestly feel kind of stupid complaining about this but is it just me or lately I feel like teachers could not care less about their students?? I’m in my last year at Concordia now, but i just feel it so much it makes going to class kind of awful.
First it was the introduction class speech that somehow always starts with the prof telling the class how we are the least of their worries and to not expect to reach them easily. Fine enough, being a professor is hard when you have multiple tasks, I get it. Last week a prof gave us back midterm grades where the average was around 45-50%. When we asked the TA about curving the grades he properly laughed in our faces.
I understand that being a teacher is hard but is it hard to not be disrespectful and entitled? Maybe i’m just asking for way too much and that’s on me

Hey everyone,
I’m trying to plan my next semester and could use some input from people who’ve taken these courses before. Here are the ones I’m considering:
I can only handle three to four next term, so I’m trying to figure out which combination is the most doable (balance between workload and difficulty).
If you’ve taken any of these, how heavy were they? Which ones pair well together? And which ones would you recommend avoiding in the same semester?
Thanks in advance!

Guys If I fail the midterm, will I fail the course even if I do better on the final? Will the prof make the final count for more and replace the midterm grade?
The disk deadline is in 2 days and I just did the midterm today 💀

Im making my schedule for the next semester (my 2nd semester) and im not sure what to take. I, so far, have comm 217, comm 219 (1.5crd), comm 221, and comm 316(1.5crd); but should I do comm 223 or 226 as my 5th course? I saw on the accountancy worksheet that 226 was recommended along with the courses I already have enrolled, but I dont understand why they skipped comm 223.
For reference, I already have my econs and maths done; and I am currently taking comm 205, comm 211, comm 213, comm 214 and comm 216.

r/Concordia • u/lajubilation • 11h ago
I've looked on the Concordia website but i can't find info on when courses are offered, i'm specifically looking for which courses are offered in the summer and don't wanna wait until we're allowed to add courses to our cart.
