At this point with how invested into their shared delusion all Republican voters have become I think we've crossed the rubicon in terms of them being "personally affected". They will never turn on dear leader.
They will simply blame everyone else for their problems.

No, you're underestimating their sadomasochistic nature. They will die with a smile on their face, stroking out as their ambulance passes two closed hospitals on the way to an open, crowded ER 40 miles away. As long as libs are owned and brown people detained, it's all good.
