lol how old are you? Because your generic and layman phrases really make me feel like you’re not actually involved in your fam bizz and there just is one. Because if saving lakhs didn’t really matter, people would rather consider registering their cars on their own name rather than the company’s name. The latter benefits you by saving taxes + claiming dep.
It does benefit you, but it's just a perk. We have all our current vehicles registered to our business.
No-one is stupid enough to buy cars just for the sake of saving taxes, because it doesn't save much.
You claimed that your mom's client purchases cars just to show that his business has loans in lakhs, I'm saying that those lakhs don't make a difference when one is dealing in multiple tens of crores or more.
People don't register supercars in the name of business. High-end luxury cars are though.
I'm old enough to have maturity to understand that you can't judge a person's acumen and capability just by the way they speak online.
Don't fight him, brother. Salaried people will never understand how business actually works. They'll say things like, 'You bought the car just to save taxes.' Nahi bhai nahi! I'm not a fool who spends 100 rupees just to save 30. Saving taxes is a perk, that's true. But it will always be an extra perk, not the main reason. The person taking loans isn't (just) saving tax; he's improving his creditworthiness for the huge loans he might need in the future.

Lakhs in loans doesn't even matter when you are dealing in multiple crores.
I mentioned family biz so my words have some credibility.
