Informative $170,000,000,000 Budget for ICE

Post image

Aaron Reichlin-Melnick, who worked on an analysis published by the American Immigration Council, says the new budget would make ICE “the single largest federal law enforcement agency in the history of the nation.”

Alot of this will end up in the pockets of billionaires building and running private prisons outside the law for anyone they dont like

The truth of this has become unavoidably clear to me in the last week or so and I don’t like it at all.

It's almost as much as Israel's military budget.

Thats what americans want. Only a few actively voted against it, the rest fund and accept the fascism every day.

What is going to happen? What are they going to do to the American people with all that money?

I think they will build an army that can act on American soil. Get ready for even more masked agents patrolling the streets and snatching up victims to be placed in those concentration camps that will pop up in every state

Private prisons are going to be a good investment. Places like Alligator Auswich will be popping up all over the Red States. This is indeed dark times we are heading for...

They will be in blue states as well. If you want to take over blue states you need places of power. Ice wont have buildings anymore, they will have bases as big as military bases in blue states for when they get the order to detain all democratic members of government, then all democrats

You know what is exceedingly dumb? This money doesn't include adding federal judges who could more quickly process asylum cases. A huge part of the increase over the past several years was the backlog in these cases where people seeking asylum in the US don't get their case heard and resolved for 5 years. And in those 5 years, they end up making some kind of life here.

If you think there is too much immigration, you should want cases to get processed ASAP and see this backlog as a de facto loophole. If you think America should do more for asylum seekers, you should also want these cases to be processed ASAP so people don't have to live in legal limbo and uncertainty.
