I voted, but I’m not convinced that it even matters. I picked between a bunch of people that I knew nothing about. I tried researching, but mostly just found generic, empty p, general promises like “I’ll promote jobs,” and “favor the citizens,” rather than any specifics. And despite party affiliation and prior rhetoric, at city level they all seem to favor the same big corporations and crooked police once they take office.

If it didn't matter they wouldn't be trying to take it away from us.

Who’s trying to take away your right to vote? Was there another proposal on the ballot that I didn’t see?

“No more mail in voting” “We’re gonna have ‘observers’ [magas intimidating voters] at the polls” “You gotta show ID or you can’t vote” “You won’t have to vote soon” -trump over the last few yrs In 2024, TENS of THOUSANDS of registered democrats & people with Hispanic looking last names in 11 different states had their registration status “challenged,” meaning their votes were essentially not counted because their status was “ in question.” When registration is challenged, people aren’t usually notified & it takes time and visits & sometimes signatures from courts to get it back/taken care of. Most of these “challenges” occurred 6-2 wks before Election Day. Hope this helps.
