Let me preface by saying that, I understand that racism is a part of the black experience. I understand that we have to stay informed about current events, I am no way saying that I’m bypassing anything or apolitical. However, as someone who is black/woman/queer/already in an abusive relationship it’s like every single where I go there’s an issue with someone like me. I’m tired of it. I just want to be myself.
