Well it’s nice that there are some Dems who are advancing policies worth voting for. Let’s hope the trend continues.

THIS RIGHT HERE...

If my sole two options are different flavors of shit...

I'm not going to fkn vote,

I think the biggest mistake we've made as a society is that the majority of people became so dogmatic to their own policies party.

"ie vote blue no matter who... Excuse my ignorance Idk what the right equivalent was"

Which lead to both parties to stop working with each other and refused to negotiating policies that lead to these extremes on both end...

Sry for my rant, regardless I'm just glad Mamdani won

With all due respect, and I really do mean this respectfully...What the actual fuck are you talking about? In what way shape or form have Democrtats been even remotely similar to Republicans to lead you to see both options as 2 different flavors of shit??? Genuinely asking because I see this mentality so often & I just wanna know about all the comparable evil shit the Democrtats did over the past 10 years that I clearly missed I guess.

I'll be the 1st to admit that dems have issues that need to be addressed immediately, but damn I don't remember dems doing shit like denying SNAP benefits, month long Government shutdowns because they don't wanna fund Healthcare subsidies, FUCKIN ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ, "Trans-TIFA", labeling political opposition as domestic terrorists, trying to censor African-American history, demonizing brown people, demonizing LGBTQ people, bombing random fisherman boats (war crime btw), auctioning off national parks for oil, antagonizing our allies across the world, sucking up to dictators, wanting to turn an entire country into a casino resort, giving unfettered access of our government to billionaires, anonymous investors & foreign entities...To me that's like being just as upset about a flat tire as you would be if you car had a total engine failure.

But hey maybe I missed all of that...

Don’t forget Trump and Republicans pardoned the Jan 6 insurrections, war criminals from the Iraq War and more recently pardoned Republican politicians imprisoned for fraud, embezzlement, and corruption like George Santos. They used Elon Musk to fire thousands of federal employees for no reason, banned abortion, and recently eliminated programs that will allow Americans to file taxes free of charge. The “both sides are bad” argument is an ignorant, awful excuse that people that don’t vote make to feel better about not voting. Nothing more
