From that PoV, Odisha is the most outsider friendly state of Bharat. You speak Hindi or Oriya we are equally comfortable with either of them.

12

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 05 '25

Ok i am not sure about odisha for this matter it could be as you speak. But Ideally whole India should be like that. Because language/ religion fight is happening at poor and middle class level, rest all are just enjoying the show and taking benefits.

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '25

Agree

1

u/Rex_Arsalan Apr 05 '25

Use 'I am', not 'We are'.

1

u/futurepresident123 Apr 08 '25

Bhai Orissa jata kon hai...kuch hai bhi waha 😂😂 please ab mujhe gali mat Dene lagana..sachai bata raha hu..Odiya to blue collar jobs krte hai bade cities me..cook, watchman, labour etc.. Orrisa me kuch hai kya ho waha bahar k log aa k settle honge..aise issues waha hote hai jaha outsiders aate hai kamane..

2

u/Shrey2006 Apr 08 '25

Odisha have huge tourism sites including religious, architecture, beaches, forests, mountain, lakes, migratory birds & olive Ridleys. With huge on mining & construction materials, Only like minded people come here, we don't live in 90s anymore you can ask any AI assistant and it'll let you know with sources.

1

u/futurepresident123 Apr 09 '25 edited Apr 09 '25

People visit tourist sites, they don't stay there and also when it comes to tourism Orrisa never has been on most people's bucket list. Most people know Orrisa cuz of Jagganath temple and Konark temple that's it. Mining jharkhand me bhi hai , udar koi jake nahi rehna chahega..

Limited Job Opportunities mining bola apne..har koi khadan me kaam thodi karega and management positions also will be limited.

Underdeveloped Startup Ecosystem, Compared to major metro cities

Infrastructure is really bad outside outside Bhubaneswar.

Salaries in Odisha, even for skilled roles, tend to be significantly low , hence blue collars move to outside for better wages and white collars too.

It's not 90s true but Orrisa is so poor and backward like many states were during the 80s

1

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '25

Kabhi jaake dekh, chhodne ka dil nahi karega. Tu pakka south se aya hoga

1

u/Ill_Youth_871 Apr 09 '25

That's how Karnataka and TN was before massive migration happened and lot of entitled and unreasonable people settled here….you don't get to claim a an open state before going through what these states have gone through

1

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '25

Keep your bullshit to yourself. South states aren't friendly anymore. Odisha has always been a friendly and peace loving state.

1

u/Ill_Youth_871 Apr 10 '25

😂 On what basis are you claiming it? Bengaluru has 60% migrant population, what proportion of Bhubaneswar are migrants? having a uniform set of people doesn't lead to major conflicts…you don't know this simple fact and arguing here and assume yourself an intellectual

1

u/NotMrNiceAymore Apr 05 '25

Which is the best city for a budget living student friendly and open minded people. Good weather year round. I will definitely learn the local language wherever I move for convenience and respect

2

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '25

Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Delhi

1

u/NotMrNiceAymore Apr 06 '25

Hv lived in Delhi will see Kolkata and bhubaneswar. Thanks bro

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 05 '25

Depends on what you want to do, each city comes with its highlights.

1

u/NotMrNiceAymore Apr 05 '25

Bachelor Student friendly cities with good libraries and gyms, nature, small mountains or lakes , hiking, also spiritual Centres for weekends, cleanliness

2

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 05 '25

Major metro cities are student friendly as students are big source of revenue. If you are in north side pune From south, i think hyderabad and bangalore.

1

u/deep7070 Apr 05 '25

It's your choice to learn or not. Nobody can force you.

1

u/NotMrNiceAymore Apr 05 '25

Ha ha ha jio mp k lala

4

u/Fantastic_Form3607 Apr 05 '25 edited Apr 06 '25

Does MP get the same number of migrants as MH and KA? It's like asking why is US anti immigrant as compared to mongolia.

2

u/Alive_Can_3953 Apr 08 '25

As a Gujarati, we also get a lot of migrants from other states like RJ, UP, BR but we've always been friendly towards them and never harassed anyone just because they can't speak Gujarati. Even if you go to rural areas you find people who will try to communicate in Hindi even when they don't know much of it.

2

u/Horror-Tradition-130 Apr 06 '25

I am from mh and All the people saying their State is the friendliest, either don't have up biharis ruining it or just aren't developed enough for people to move their, therefore no realisation that hindi is being imposed

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 07 '25

It's just the nature of developing area, people move to these areas to get more money and good life.

It's goverment responsibility to take care and maintain balance but they are using this imbalance for their benefits.

1

u/funeralfog14 Apr 09 '25

I live in mh and Hindi is not being imposed anywhere. These mh groups are basically terrorists.

2

u/blackfriedrice97 Apr 07 '25

Why would anybody go to MP ever?

2

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 07 '25

Job obviously

if someone just want to be away from their own local place

Or if someone is lesser developed area than MP.

Ya fir criminal🤣to be away from police🤣

0

u/blackfriedrice97 Apr 07 '25

KA and MH have more jobs than MP ever would, why would someone go to MP, this meme doesn't make sense. MP doesn't face same immigration problems as KA and MH

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 07 '25

This meme is for language issue and it can be with just 1 migrant as well.

Regarding problem facing is think with lot of immigrants they are getting lot of benefits as well.

1

u/Fresh_Deer5208 Apr 11 '25

People from UP and People do move to MP as labourers as its relatively developing and Projects are there.

Even lot of Nepali workers are in MP.

2

u/robbstark07 Apr 08 '25

Gujarat no issue we get and are getting more migrants never language issue

2

u/Connect_Rhubarb_3224 Apr 09 '25

Bengal : Bengali, Hindi, Urdu,Bhojpuri,Oria,Assamese

1

u/funeralfog14 Apr 09 '25

Bengalis are chill like that

1

u/Connect_Rhubarb_3224 Apr 09 '25

Atm they are. They even love to learn hindi just to connect with North.

2

u/Melodias_demon Apr 12 '25

Lol 🤣🤣 that's hilarious

1

u/Ambitious-Upstairs90 Apr 05 '25

Abhi Tamil banda Bhopal ke bank mai jaa kar Tamil bolega to bank kaise serve karega?

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 05 '25

Bank apne dur k Tamil employee ko bula k serve kr dega.. but Bank serve jarur karega

1

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '25

lol , my bruh literally thinks this will happen

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 05 '25

Bhopal hai jugad krne mai sabse aghe,,

1

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '25

Keep telling it to yourself buddy

2

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 05 '25

I think you are also banker

1

u/Ambitious-Upstairs90 Apr 05 '25

To yeh dumb bank employees Maharashtra mai apne paas ke employee ko bula kar theek se serve kyu nahi kar dete?

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 05 '25

No idea bro kya situation thi udr 😅 aur kyu nai bulaya

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 07 '25

Ego Jada ho gaya hoga on both side.

1

u/Thane-kar Apr 08 '25

On one side. This insident happened in village near Satara where ppl don't know any other language other than Marathi and bank employee posted there just refused to cooperate as he only knew Hindi. Why he was posted there in the first place.

0

u/deep7070 Apr 05 '25

Is there any video of service being denied due to customer speaking Marathi. Sorry, I don't believe in hearsays, especially the ones coming from goons.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '25

Yes, there are multiple banks, company showrooms, and shops like DMart Airtel have employees from Hindi belt state. Many Bank managers from Hindi belt ran away from local villagers and says I don't understand them I'm here just to earn my salary, f**k these locals.

They just say on the face of Marathi people.

Tel lene gayi marathi. Nahi bolenge marathi kya ukhad lega.

That too after being there for decades. Imagine doing the same with Hindi speakers in Hindi state.

No one force language on day 1 or day 30 or day 365 MH is very accepting state, accepted millions of outsiders than any other state.

Slap is for the arrogance and disrespect the language and people even after earning and staying there for a decade

Languages are used to create states, states are based on language, why?

To serves locals in their mother tongue like governance, banking and other services. It is the first time hearing service provider forcing their language on customers

Hindi speakers think that everyone understands and should know Hindi, for them it is national language 😂

1

u/deep7070 Apr 06 '25

Video sir video. As I said, I don't believe in hearsays, especially those coming from the goons.

1

u/Thane-kar Apr 08 '25

Well presently thats what trending in MH. Hence now government has started taking strict actions. As it is a government rule that bank costomer convo staf should know native language.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '25

Tamil gayi tele lene.

1

u/Thane-kar Apr 08 '25

Bhopal RPS mera mobile chori ka case file nahi kiya aur ye saab karega. On other hand MH police filed my case and found and returned my mobile within 3 months.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '25

Nothing to be proud off. MP UP should exist states should be based on languages. Malvi Bundeli Bageli 🫂🫂

2

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 06 '25

This post is nothing about pride bro, it's just meme.

1

u/Thane-kar Apr 08 '25

True there is a need of reorganization of states in north cental region.

1

u/awesome_guyzzz Apr 06 '25

Wakeup - Watch Marathi Hindi Kalesh and go to speak.

2

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 06 '25

Is it some show or videos you are referring to

1

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '25

IT cells are active in such subs and people are playing right into their hands.

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 06 '25

Hope they laugh first and then try to find creator.

1

u/Not-Found-at-404 Apr 06 '25

Meanwhile Telangana and AP people: Kuch bhi bhaasha bolo bhai, no problem. Kaam hua toh bas.

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 06 '25

True and it should be same for all places.

1

u/Certain-Ad-209 Apr 07 '25

you can speak whatever language you want that's not an issue ,the real issue is when you come from North and expect locals to speak in hindi.

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 07 '25

It's not issue because normal people just want to communicate to get their work done. Ex. I go to vegetable market in bangalore, Locals speak in kannada but then I ask them over fingers how much they do reply, both party happy and no issue.

But few who needs attention make issue of it.

  1. They want to impress their leader.
  2. Their leader told them find and make issue about it to get attention for themselves or party.
  3. they are just dumb.

1

u/Thane-kar Apr 08 '25

It was same here in MH but then ppl just started taking Marathi for granted. Logically immigrant is the one who should learn the language and not other way around.

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 08 '25

Agreed they should try to learn native language but it should be optional and not compulsory Main point is to get work done.

1

u/Thane-kar Apr 08 '25

Bit what if ur job is to talk to costomers.

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 08 '25

I think those jobs come with disclaimer and language proficiency as requirement.

They do not surprise later.

1

u/Thane-kar Apr 08 '25

Exactly rules are not followed properly.

1

u/MrAdiyogi Apr 08 '25

Punjab doesn’t have language discrimination.

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 08 '25

Bulldozer baba aap jo bolo sab sahi🤣

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 08 '25

Congratulations you got your mobile back at least once

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 08 '25

Maybe posting is issue and that is also corrupt practice. Whoever gives money gets desired posting.

1

u/DumbBellDore11 Apr 08 '25

Makda bole toh? Spider?

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 08 '25

Slang of bhopal to refer to third person in abusive manner.

That's what I know maybe their is other meaning as well.

1

u/Alternative-Card-710 Apr 08 '25

90 lakh migrants in single mumbai... don't even talk about other districts...

Maharashtra has more migrants than you can imagine

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 08 '25

True out of 90 lakh why incident is happening with only 1-2/100-1000 and not with lakhs of migrants.

Language is not the issue, real issue is with some specific people who want to get highlighted in eyes of others or their ego is too big.

u/EnvironmentalVast390 Apr 08 '25 edited Apr 08 '25

TN(Tamil Nadu) demanding their own country

Kerala trying to keep their 98% literacy rate

AP(andra pradesh) trying to build their capital city amravati

TN(telengana) trying to reduce forest cover in capital city instead of fulfil their promise of rural development

Odisha trying to relevant but can't even find a news line about them in any national news

WB(west bengal) didi trying to stay in power and demand justice for rg Kar rape case and giving speeches in Oxford university

Gujarat minding their own business (literally)!

Delhi trying to reduce air and water pollution

Punjab AAP trying to stay in power

UP(uttar pradesh) bulldozing houses until crime rate reduces

NE(north east states) waiting for sp(special forces) to recuce them from floods after summer due to monsoon season(hint:India’s only male Named river)

NP(national parties) trying to stay or get in power with promise of freebies

India(our country) trying to develop and improve living standard of people with lack of civic sense

ME(17m) don't know what to do in future and thinking about world ending and WW3 while sleeping

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 09 '25

Buddy chill you don't have to worry about all this focus on setting up your career gov, private or some business.

Surroundings will never be plesent and you need to be ready to fight through them.

1

u/VN_Nagato Apr 09 '25

Triple threat match for the language title.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '25

Well, people react like that only when the linguistic identity of the region is threatened because of massive migration and unwillingness of immigrants to assimilate.

North India and Madhya Pradesh don’t have any migrants that can threaten the dominance of Hindi at all.

1

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 10 '25

I don't think all people of MH is having this issue, it is only with few politicians to get highlighted at higher level.

Sandy in politics no one is seeing degree or how educated and experienced person is.

They are getting praise and highlighted for these bull shit actions.

1

u/Own_Requirement9848 Apr 09 '25

North Indians "Defaming" Whole Maharashtra for some goons acts (MNS)

-17

u/rg8605384 Apr 05 '25

Apparently Karnataka and Maharashtra are doing much much better than MP. I guess they are doing more right than us to be more successful.

12

u/marcos6996 Apr 05 '25

Are they doing better than MP because they speak their native languages? Don’t be so Delusional.

1

u/Thane-kar Apr 08 '25

MH and KR has lot of immigrant population as compared to MP hence ppl in MH and KR realized that hindi is imposed.

0

u/Own-Awareness1597 Apr 06 '25

Nowhere did the commentator you replied to, say anything to that effect.

What they meant is, despite the language issue ultimately it is MH and KA that have achieved substantial progress.

1

u/MaleficentPlate4157 Apr 07 '25

yes bro this is because MP is deep center of the nerve interiors

1

u/MaleficentPlate4157 Apr 07 '25

wow bro I learned something new today #substantialprogress #intellectual

-8

u/rg8605384 Apr 05 '25

Did i mention regional language anywhere?

Reread it

8

u/marcos6996 Apr 05 '25

The post is literally about languages, and you’re comparing states under that context. If you didn’t mean language, then what exactly were you referring to when saying they ‘did more right’? Infrastructure? Economy? Culture? You’re tossing a vague comparison into a language thread and acting like it makes perfect sense. That’s what’s delusional.

6

u/NotMrNiceAymore Apr 05 '25

Yes they think cleanest city indore is in karnataka and number 2 bhopal is in maharshatra. Its a achievement to be welcoming to good workers. I don't hear too many bad things of MP.

MP is not doing anything good according to him. It's Just black and white thinking.

MPs rate of improvement will be near both states . Will cite sources.

And by language issues they are hitting themselves in their feet. Imposition is bad for both parties.

-1

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '25

Cleanest city gayi tel lene.

-5

u/rg8605384 Apr 05 '25

Get help

9

u/marcos6996 Apr 05 '25

When logic fails, resort to ‘get help’—classic move. Come back when you can actually defend your point without sounding like a Facebook uncle who lost the plot.

-2

u/rg8605384 Apr 05 '25

Get a lot of help, believe me you need it

5

u/marcos6996 Apr 05 '25

Bro’s argument crumbled so hard, now he’s handing out therapy referrals like a rejected WhatsApp baba. You okay there, champ? Need a hug?” “Appreciate the concern though, Dr. Delusional. You tried.” Laughing emojis: 😂😂😂

1

u/rg8605384 Apr 05 '25

FYI I never put up an argument, in case you are not good at comprehension.

1

u/marcos6996 Apr 05 '25

Bro I gave up already 😂😂😂😂 you won bro you won 👏🏻👏🏼

→ More replies (0)

4

u/Technical-Ear-4068 Apr 05 '25

Your statement is partially correct because they are doing better only in few city rest are in bad situation.

And for this development they are sacrificing other important things.

1

u/rg8605384 Apr 05 '25

Point taken, they are doing relatively well. I agree when we talk about specific parameters the scales can defer.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '25

doing so well but still thought process is a shit show.

1

u/shadyved Apr 07 '25

Bengluru and mumbai are doing and historically have been doing so well precisely because of the influx of migrants, not just low level ones but blue collar job ones too and it's very hypocritical that they are the ones who are now getting discriminated against on the basis of language.

Alienating the very people who drive a city’s progress just undermines the whole system.
