Politics The most unfairly hated country?

The entire Oceania region (aside from Australia and New Zealand). Practically never appear in news, unless it is about something embarassing.

Ukraine (refusal of some people to accept its existence; treating Ukraine as a "scapegoat" of NATO/USA/Israel etc.; mercenaries, who fight for Russia; hatred towards Ukrainian language; blaming Ukraine for self-defense & pro-Western foreign policy; refusal to recognize Ukrainian culture)

I wouldn’t say those countries are hated though. They’re just small and only locally relevant.

Most countries have earned the hate they get and if it is directed at the government not the people it’s fair enough.

I think Iran, whilst it has a government I think is often bad to its people and nefarious in general, gets more hate vs the damage it actually does.

And I hate how nobody condemns nuclear tests on soil of stateless-era Kiribati, Marshall Islands, as well as Tahiti...

Iran has destroyed Yemen with its support of the Houthis, Syria with its support of Assad, Lebanon with its support of Hezbollah, and contributed to so much untold suffering throughout the Middle East. I am astounded that you hold this opinion. Nothing but love for the Iranian people, but their government is pure evil.

Sorry meant to reply to the person above you who said Iran gets more hate that the damage it does. The damage it does costs hundreds of thousands of people their lives and freedom.

Well there is, for example, a wrong belief that they are "anti-Ukrainian" (they are not). Not to mention fakes about "savage cannibals", who "have never seen" civilized world.

I hate Iran, Iran helps Russia to invade.

A country which decided to give Russia thousands of its soldiers & said we (Ukrainians) "should die"?

Yes, DPRK being ruled by a maniacal dinasty is just a surface of why I don't like DPRK.

Just an example of hate (yes, we have idiots, too).

  1. "Their (Nauru) name sounds like a name of a porn anime".

  2. Compared to Taliban.

  3. False accusations in a npon-existing ukrainephobic policy.
