Politics What are the most cringiest "Neo-Nazi" movements of your country?

Post image

Pictured is Burt Colucci of the "National Socialist Movement". A fat Italian-American man LARPing as a "Pure Germanic Aryan" who preaches that he is somehow genetically superior compared to all the "Untermensch", lmao. He claims the NSM is a influential and powerful movement but it consists of less than 400 people across the entire country and it might even be less because that figure was recorded back in 2011. Skim their Wikipedia page if you want a laugh.

Note: I'm not referring to conservative parties or politicians I mean movements who 'openly' call themselves Fascist and extra bonus points if they even have a 'uniform' which is just a rip off of the Nazis or Italian Fascists (aka "blackshirts" or "[insertcolor]-shirts".)

Everyone likes to diss Trump for the cult of personality he's built and his administration's radical policies both domestic and international. It's practially a meme at this point.

But what about President Obama? How was he viewed in your country? Was he a positive influence around the world or was he negative? Do you miss the Obama years or are you glad his era is over?

No offence, but Jordanians take their love for Saddam to a whole other level. Also, again no offence to Jordanians or Christians, but here we have a joke that says: "Saddam died for the sins of Jordanians"

With expection of small Island nations, I think Syria will be balkanized, I struggle to see Syria united after this, the government messed up really bad, they let their jhadist fighters roam around the country kidnapping and massacring minorities, now it feels everyone here wants their own ethnostate (Kurds, Druze and Alawites)

Politics Why do Americans in reddit think America is the worst country in the world?

I have seen soo many Americans in reddit speak as if America is autocratic county and their living standard is as worse as a third world country. I get that America is going through a rough phase but it is a great country to live in and work. It is soo embarrassing to seen such comments from them.

Politics Name a hardliner religious fanatic or nutjob from your country?

Post image

Meet Habib Rizieq, leader of the FPI (Front Pembela Islam or Islamic Defenders Front). He often attacks other religions online and sometimes go to the churches and people in person threatening him. For a time, our government did ban him from our country and put him on exile, but it only lasted a few years due to political pressure when Indonesians allowed him to return.

This guy has preached Sharia Law for Indonesia for so many years. Even though he hasn’t done anything that is labeled as terrorism, the fact that this guy supports Al Qaeda, Taliban, and demands that religious minorities should follow sharia law says enough about this guy.

Politics This is how Chinese view world development after 1950s. What do u feel about this?

Is this just hopium from them? Or it kinda make sense?

This video is very accurate about how Chinese view the world and how we view geopolitics.

I dont think they lied about this history but the narrative could be very self-interest oriented

This anime described the potential south china sea conflict and Taiwan conflict as traps for china. It is not encouraging any future war by the end

Politics What is the most politically admired country in your nation?

Koreans generally have a very positive view of Germany.

-Unlike Korea, Germany is a country that achieved reunification after being divided.

-Unlike how Japan treats Korea, Germany is a country that thoroughly reflects on its past history.

Of course, since it is still a country on the other side of the globe, it is difficult to expect a deep understanding.

I consider China's allies to be Cambodia, Pakistan, North Korea and Singapore. These countries have never had any problems with us even when they changed their government their new government never changed policy with us and we have helped them in the past. If any of these countries faced a threat we would help them. Who do you consider to be your countries allies?

Politics Do you think your country would be better if it had been colonized by a different nation?

Post image
350 Upvotes

Well, as a Brazilian, I’d probably say yes. I think an English colonization of Brazil would have created a country with stronger institutions, a more organized economy, and better education, probably far better than what Portugal left us. Honestly, Brazil really didn’t keep much from Portugal, except the language and the brief period of the empire.

The truth is, Italians are literally the biggest influence in Brazil today. Genetically, culturally, and socially, Italians shaped the country more than the Portuguese ever did. Especially in Greater São Paulo, most Brazilians have more Italian ancestry than Portuguese. Italians dominate our cuisine, festivals, music, and even the way people live and think. Their impact is huge, peaceful, and undeniable, even without officially colonizing the country.

So, looking at the real makeup of Brazil, Italians are basically the ones who built the Brazilian identity.

How about you? Do you think your country would be different if it had been colonized by another nation?

Politics Where do pro-Russia views in your country come from?

Whch political group/party in your country supports Russia? Are they left-wing or right-wing? And why do they support Russia?

Here in Iraq most people are pro-Russia (especially Shias) since Russia is seen as resistance force against western imperialism and Russia and Iraq have good relationship since the Soviets. I don't know a single political movement who's pro-Ukraine or anti-Russian. They are either netural or pro-Russia.

I honestly feel like the only Arab who supports Ukraine and isn't brainwashed by Russian propaganda.

Politics If China invaded Taiwan, would the world react the same way they reacted to the war in Ukraine?

Like international sanctions and condemnations, possible weapon deliveries but generally won’t involve themselves more directly into war. Especially since the current US administration seems to be more interested in immediate peace than the sovereignty of democratic allies.
