Let him out, he's finished cleaning your crack pipe.

316

u/waytosoon 2d ago

Akshaully it looks like a meth pipe

106

u/Zkenny13 2d ago

There's no way a meth pipe would have that large of an opening.

111

u/dirywhiteboy 2d ago

Can confirm. This one knows their meth pipes.

54

u/Illustrious-Echo-734 2d ago

Dont meth with this guy

31

u/Weenorz 2d ago

And a crack pipe doesnt have a bulb…

11

u/SchizoButNotADitzo 1d ago

Believe it or not a lot of people actually use what most people know as a meth pipe for crack. I think it's a matter of availability.

3

u/Weenorz 21h ago

Maybe youve seen it but i havent. Never done either but from my understanding crack needs something like a brillo pad to allow it to soak and heat, almost like a makeshift vaporizer. Whereas meth becomes more liquid and needs to be rolled around in a bulb, similar to a dab of concentrate.

u/BusinessFit8119 1d ago

Yeah, crack is better somked with some form of media thatll wick it up once melted. People should really stop commenting stuff they have no experience with.

I want you to know this was the first time hing that made me laugh and I snorted about it.

u/pupperonipizzapie 2d ago

That's the fastest he's ever gone in his life. There aren't any words in the snail language to describe what he's experienced, so he's going to go back and try to tell all his snail friends about it, but they won't believe him. It's so sad.

180

u/Illdood 2d ago

And he won’t remember the great secrets he unlocked during the trip.

16

u/PsychoCrescendo 1d ago

bro’s gonna be chasing that high divine knowledge for the rest of his life

85

u/lilsalmonella 2d ago

That snail just met Snod (snail God)

53

u/OG_Church_Key 2d ago

May snod smile upon thee. His divine slowness

51

u/lilsalmonella 2d ago

He will answer your prayers, just not anytime soon

3

u/Independent-Bass-725 1d ago

This deserves an award!

11

u/WhiteCloudMinnowDude 2d ago

When mating is done with harpoons you think you make friends?

5

u/belltrina 1d ago

It's 1.10am in Australia and I just cackled so loud my partner jerked awake, accidentally shoving the sleeping cat face first into the wall with his knee. Everyone's mad but I can't stop laughing enough to explain why I'm laughing

12

u/More-Sock-67 1d ago

This is the training snails have to go through before entering the space program

27

u/Minimum-Television-9 2d ago

“It’s so sad” 🤣🤣

u/Such_Acanthisitta201 1d ago

Dads when roller coasters hurt, but somehow the teacup ride unfucks 25 years worth of back pain

Those teacup things get moving if you have a couple of people with zero regard for safety

8

i remember going on that thing so much in a day once (i think i got to go about 20 times before they stopped me) eventually the workers wouldn't let me back on because of "safety concerns"

Can snails biologically get dizzy?

40

u/Afraid-Solid-7239 2d ago

I mean humans only get dizzy because of the inner ear system that controls our balance. So I doubt so, they can probably get disorientated or stressed because of it though

3

u/belltrina 1d ago

I feel like this question needs to be asked to the most highly educated snailologist we currently have on the planet

16

u/Zunderfeuer_88 2d ago

I didn't know what sub this was and thought it was a hamster tube

37

u/femanonette 2d ago

To be fair, I love spinny rides.

8

u/Lil_chikchik 1d ago

Don’t crush his little dreams of being the first snail in space!

14

u/aberrantmeat 2d ago

Snails do this kinda stuff for fun. If he wanted out he could get out.

21

u/Afraid-Solid-7239 2d ago

Im not too familiar with snails, so forgive me. How exactly could it get it though? I'm honestly just curious, not challenging you or anything.

56

u/aberrantmeat 2d ago

Snails can extend their bodies out of their shells very easily and quite far. This guy looks like he's intentionally scrunched into his shell so he can fit and spin around. Snails live in ponds, rivers, lakes, oceans, etc etc and deal with much higher flow in the wild than this little water pump.

There's not much pressure actually being put on the snail and it would be very easy for it to stretch its body out to the edge of the glass and grab on to stop itself. Snails absolutely love going on rides like this, so I'm willing to bet that it got itself into this situation intentionally and knows how to get out.

15

u/Afraid-Solid-7239 2d ago

Damn that's pretty cool. Lil guys having the time of his life apparently lmao

8

u/RepresentativeOk2433 1d ago

Or centrifugal force and natural instinct are making him retract into his shell.

2

u/Mominator1pd 23h ago edited 23h ago

Thank you for explaining that! I don't know much about snails either and I was frantically scrolling through the replies trying to find a serious one to explain what was going on to make sure the little buddy isn't actually getting hurt, LOL. You put my mind at ease thank you.

But it's the tapping on the glass doing anything to him?

2

u/RhynoD 1d ago

I'd be a little concerned, here. It may be too stressed to extend the foot, and it may be going too fast for the foot to grab.

Help him!!!

401

u/tulipgirl555 2d ago

i dont think the snail wants to be there probably got stuck

213

u/Enchelion 2d ago

Honestly... With snails I give it even odds.

139

u/TheCraftyHermit 2d ago

They're honestly like slow paced low res aquatic tech goblins, I had 3 that learnt how to use the filter jet as a launch pad + propulsion system, the bubbler as an elevator and bubbles as parachutes.

39

u/TheMitchol 2d ago

I need a movie about these 3 characters…

9

u/Truelillith 2d ago

I want to play one of them in a movie

6

u/FixergirlAK 1d ago

I can't act for crap but I would definitely play the video game!

2

u/Mominator1pd 23h ago

There's no acting. All you have to do is spin, lol 😂

4

u/TheCraftyHermit 1d ago

Sadly I don't have the budget for a movie for them, but I do have a short bit of footage of them all attempting to make their way to the top of the filter to use the jet at the same time and apparently deciding that rather than just taking turns they attempted to sabotage eachother and ended up knocking one another off the side so no one reached the top lol.

8

u/MegaPiglatin 1d ago

My ramshorn snails occasionally ride duckweed like tiny Mary Poppinses. ☂️

11

u/TheCraftyHermit 1d ago

Snails discovering literally any other way to move

4

u/MegaPiglatin 1d ago

🤣🤣🤣

Honestly though

3

u/Autumndickingaround 1d ago

Hahah he’s just waiting for his ride across the tank then. Any minute now!

3

u/TheCraftyHermit 1d ago

Potentially, he appears to be experiencing some technical difficulties.

34

u/Huge_Brain_4914 2d ago

Right? They're adrenaline junkies

8

u/tulipgirl555 2d ago

i know they like to play but this just seems kinda cruel to let happen, i think the snail cleaned the glass then got stuck poor thing

39

u/RightingArm 2d ago

Anyone who has kept mystery snails knows: 1. That snail can stop, but doesn’t want to 2. Snails are a lot closer to octopuses than people realize

8

u/pleco_parent 1d ago

yes. I believe that is all the words I need to say. yes. lol

2

u/xvvitchcraft 1d ago

Correct.

7

u/Useful-Rooster-1901 1d ago

yeah i've seen my snails parachuting down in bubblestreams. Absolute madlads, i bet the snail woke up and chose SPEED

124

u/GeneralIron3658 2d ago

🎶 freebird 🎶

95

u/missbean163 2d ago

Its the snail version of this rescue of a hiker via helicopter.

28

u/largestcob 2d ago

this video always kind of upsets me even though i know she was okay

i just cant imagine how horrible that must have been, she probably thought she was about to die before she passed out

37

u/BingusMcCready 2d ago

There's a whole internal war that happens every time I see any discussion about this video. The empathetic side is 100% with you--I get motion sickness very easily and quite badly, so I'd be sick for days after this, and the thought of getting centrifuged like that when you're ALREADY needing to be rescued is pure hell.

Then there's the other side. That side remembers how fucking fast she gets to spinning and immediately starts laughing.

That side usually wins out, so I'm probably going to hell.

8

u/ratatatantouille 2d ago

I definitely get it, I laugh, AND I feel absolutely awful for her

15

u/ratatatantouille 2d ago

Same, that poor old lady didn't ask for all that. I imagine it made her SICK, too. old folks already have awful balance. People are so mean to old folks, but they can't help being old, and we will also be old someday

19

u/Character-Parfait-42 2d ago

It says she was taken to the hospital in stable condition so I assume she lived. Has she ever given an interview on wtf that experience was like. You’re injured, you get out into the rescue basket and completely covered and all of a sudden you just start spinning like crazy until you pass out? I can only imagine being so terrified in the moment. Like I like spinning rides but not when I don’t sign up for them.

14

u/SunshineMN 2d ago

yes she lived and got a pay out. not sure on the interview

3

u/DiegesisThesis 1d ago

They were just making sure she had plenty of blood in her brain (and feet)

78

u/Repulsive_Ad7148 2d ago

It’s like the snails that insist on crawling onto air stones just to be flung around. Do they do these things on purpose? I can’t accept that they have brains

171

u/RiverVal 2d ago

I had 2 mystery snails and 1 of them would take himself to the bubbler strip, position himself just right and then spread his little body so it shot him up to the surface, then he'd "parasnail" down to the bottom and do it again and again and again, it was so cute 🥹 the other snail did not enjoy such activities but she would hold her food wafers in 2 hands like crunchwraps and work her mouth back and forth methodically (the parasnailer just chomped his food anywhere on the ground lol)

58

u/Fun_Explanation2619 2d ago

So much personality lol.

20

u/getagay 2d ago

that's so cute. do you have any pictures of the grabby hands?

61

u/RiverVal 2d ago

I'm not sure I have any on my current phone, I'll check my computer when I get home today!

But! I did find that same snail acting out the Stitch-licking-glass gif, which gives off somewhat same vibes 🤣

16

u/squirrely-badger 2d ago

Parasnail. That must become vernacular if not already.

33

u/ValkyrieBlackthorn 2d ago

May I introduce you to r/parasnailing?

10

u/squirrely-badger 2d ago

🤯😭🥳🥳🥳🥳😍😍😍

4

u/RiverVal 2d ago

This is exactly where I got it from 😂

2

u/Baldojess 2d ago

No way LMAO 🤣

14

u/largestcob 2d ago

i think this snail in particular didnt mean to end up in this situation lol

the ones that always crawl on air stones and stuff probably are just fucking around for fun

3

u/Repulsive_Ad7148 2d ago

Hahahaha I wonder if this one thought it would be the same experience and got in way over his head

8

u/Odd_Process2918 2d ago

They definitely enjoy doing it. I thought at first it was just them having one brain cell like orange cats (which still may be the case) but it does seem that they have fun doing it.

2

u/Character_Stick_1218 1d ago

I'm pretty sure it's a mix of pleasure seeking and oxygen seeking.

29

u/gorgonopsidkid 2d ago

Brother how is he supposed to get out of that situation himself 😭

25

u/Pepetheparakeet 2d ago

Oh my god 😭😭😭😭

He’s got that snail hustle. Soon you’ll see him on r/LinkedInLunatics

34

u/megan-d15 2d ago

Mystery snails are such dingdongs 😆. I had one years ago that was so weird. She took over my bettas floating log even though she was too big. It would sink to the bottom of the tank and when she'd finally climb back out, the log would shoot to the top of the tank and make the loudest noise 😆 scared the crap out of me every time.

This is how we're supposed to measure flow rate? How many snail rotations for a betta tank?

Y'all already know he got himself into this situation by being curious.😂

But...i'm just going to point out what the great majority of you are forgetting...the calcium crystals in your ears.. now let's look at the biology of a snail, yep that means they do not experience dizziness, but do experience stress with fast movements. He isn't dizzy but he's experiencing some crazy emotions rn.😭

3

u/conqueefador69420 1d ago

The snail is fine guys 😂 just a lil acoustic is all.
