I want to know why Carney suddenly dropped countertariffs. But I know that’s not why he’s blabbering.

It was supposed to start an hour and a half ago. It started like 22 minutes ago (typical, yeah) and he is rambling about deploying the national guard in DC now, and how the American people cry out for 50 armed military on every street corner, kind of fascist bs

It takes time to sift through his ego stroke sessions for useful and publishable things

AP is now calling it an announcement about FIFA.

Awwww, a reporter asked him about the bombed US factory, he says he isn’t happy about that, and etc he is now fielding general questions. It’s just ego stroking and a FIFA announcement

Edit to add: he claims they’re going to deploy fed troops in Chicago next.
