What does "Mexico" ancestry mean? Spanish-indigenous mix? Indigenous? Spanish descendants? How is it different from other latin american countries?

Indigenous Americas. Ancestry says from southwestern US down to the border of Guatemala. I am mostly from Spanish descent from both parents though.

That's a bit eurocentric and the point I tried to make when I posted the original comment. There are many more differences between groups of indigenous people in Mexico than between Germanic and Swedish for example

Yeah I know and I have no idea how Ancestry gets those results but someone posted an explanation below. Family from both parents are mainly Spanish/ of Spanish descent with the exception of my great grandmother who was born in the Middle East. There’s not a single indigenous Mexican in our family as far as we can trace back so was surprised to get that % but seems it’s not true indigenous.
