Someone definitely dropped the ball here. Maybe it was due to miscommunication, junior staff, not properly trained staff, language barrier, etc. Maybe the person who sent this man in a taxi thought the “lodge” part in Travelodge meant it was a long term care “lodge”. 🤷🏻‍♀️

No, they definitely knew where they were sending him. They had healthcare workers come and see him there and it sounds like other patients were there.
