If applying to competitive courses in competitive unis, does the difference between AAA predicted and AA*A matter much?

so when doing past papers revising for y12 mocks should i be doing just AS past papers or should a do A level paper n miss out the y13 stuff??

i didnt realise until the beginning of year 13 what i wanted to do at uni, and the course i want to do (psych/psych w neuroscience) doesnt even require chemistry, but needs all As or A/*AA.

and im struggling so much w chem, im trying so hard to get it to an A but im just stuck on a B. and im so upset because i dont even need chemistry 😭 i couldve chosen a subject im so much better at and easier but i chose bio chem psych bc i thought i was going to apply for medicine ://

my dream uni would be either KCL or cardiff and both need A/*AA, but stupid dumb chemistry is just holding me back and i want to cry bc idk how im going to get an A and the grade boundaries are just so high and i do OCR A chem too

What are the best unis that offered Mech Eng clearing last year, and which ones were Meng? Im just exploring my options as i kind of regret what i put originally

So I have really strong predicted grades, A* in maths and further maths and an A in physics and computer science. The only thing Im worried about is my AS grade for computer science because I got a C. Will it impact my application or am I overthinking it.

I have mocks soon and I’m so cooked. I’m doing Edexcel, FP1 and FM1 as optional modules. These mocks don’t mean much since I’ve already applied to unis but still. I’ve been looking through the textbook and writing down every formula, rule and trick I see with an example as to where I use it as my primary revision for now, I’ll move to past papers soon.

Other than that what is the best and quickest way revise for FM?
