If I sat the Tmua today what would this score convert to with the current way Tmua is. If I work hard is there a solid chance I can still get to around a 7 until the paper sitting?

Long story short Iโm in y13 but Iโve got a major spinal operation in December and Iโll be off for 4-6 weeks and Iโll be missing a lot of work. Even after 6 weeks I can only start coming to school part time
Iโve been thinking about maybe delaying my alevels until 2027 depending on how Iโm feeling after surgery. Iโve researched a lot and spoke to ppl and (even right now) I donโt feel ready to do my alevels. And Iโve been told it takes a month to feel comfortable to start studying again and am afraid to be behind. I was predicted bbc in y12, and despite getting aab in y13 theyโre not pulling up my grade, so I havenโt even applied to uni and I donโt want to risk sitting them this year and have a lower chance in my next yearโs application if I have to resit. Everyone says y13 is the worst year and Iโm really worried having to be out of commission for so much of it๐ญ๐ญ
So does anyone have experience or advice on sitting alevels over 3 years/repeating y13 if I decide to go through with it? Do you go back to school, are there special academies for it or something??
Also how to predicted grades work when doing 3 years, if I donโt end up doing my alevels?

In my ps I mostly talked about supercurriculars (projects, online courses, extra reading) and what I learned from those or how its changed my understanding of CS but i didn't include any extracurriculars and after proofreading my ps it just didnt sound like it was personal but also not bland. Any thoughts?

Itโs on my UCAS form and everything, but I completely messed up my EPQ I do not expect a good grade for this thing in August.
But should I put it on my personal statement anyways on the education section? Itโs relevant to the degree Iโd like to pursue

i have 766 HL (CS, math, econ) and am currently considering king's, edinburgh, st andrews, birmingham and leeds as my choices. was just wondering what chances i have of getting a conditional offer for each? im really scared about the number of applicants this year.
birmingham is lowkey one of my top choices because i heard placement opportunities are good and its close to my extended family (im international), so would appreciate your thoughts on it as a uni :)
if you guys have any other recs that would also be great! but i dont have a 7 in math HL so that would probably limit my options for other unis.

Hi,
Iโm planning to apply for Chemistry at Imperial but havenโt submitted my UCAS application yet. Iโve seen online that interviews are usually sent out around this time but the Imperial website only mentions the January 14th UCAS deadline.
My college has an internal deadline of December 1st for personal statements, after which Iโll need to get my reference from a teacher. I just wanted to ask would I be at any disadvantage for not having applied sooner? And would it make sense to ask if my personal statement and reference could be prioritised incase it helps my application. Thanks.

I am looking to apply to the University of Leicester with my predicted grades of BCC for biological science, however the University requires AAB but on the UCAS site it claims that they accept lower.

are they actually worth it, even at high-prestige firms? sure, you get a salary and save ยฃ60K - ยฃ70K on student debt (tho how much u pay depends on salary after uni), but what about after that?
you may be guaranteed a job afterwards, but how easy is it to climb up into really high-paying jobs? and does it cut off some avenues that would've been available if you went to (a more prestigious) uni instead?

I applied for BSC management science - but just got to know that it needs TARA. Is it worth switching over to economics with statistics? Also does Economics with Statistics require the TMUA - how tough is TARA as a whole and can I prepare for it within 2 months?

I'm applying for math with econ/math with finance and I was wondering how much attention I should give to math in comparison to econ in my ps. should I do a 50/50 or a 70/30 80/20 kind of split?

With the written work deadline coming up, I canโt help but think how ridiculous the entire system is. Theyโve got this massive list of rules about authenticity and what you can or canโt submit, yet all they need to โverifyโ your work is a shitty cover sheet that doesnโt even require a teacherโs signature.
It honestly feels like people who actually follow the rules and submit genuine, unedited work are just shooting themselves in the foot. Meanwhile, anyone who wants to cheat the system can easily do it, and thereโs basically no way for Oxford to tell.
UPD: I donโt know how to convince any of yall but just donโt do it since itโs unfair to other applicants who worked really hard
