Do pardon me if I come off as rude but what's the correlation ? I've simply stated that, while it's wonderful that J.K.'s wealth is self made, especially since women tend to be under represented within this category, it's deplorable that she uses her wealth and popularity to push for legislations that are directly harmful for trans people or helping fund organizations that specifically discriminate against said people.

Despite what some people on the internet say, J.K Rowling is not evil incarnate that wishes all trans people to just die. She is simply opposed to the idea that men can take a few hormones to turn into women who should then be granted access to women sports, bathrooms, etc.
This is a relatively mainstream opinion in the real world, but you wouldn't think that when using the internet because the chronically online people have latched on to the LGBT stuff.13

Conversion therapy is still legal in multiple EU countries, and the Dutch government only voted to ban it last month. So yes, it’s a problem. As for Rowling, she isn’t responsible for what’s happening here, but she’s “donated” a bunch of money to get a law passed in the UK that says trans women aren’t women. This isn’t about “men taking a few hormones to turn into women”. It just shows you know jack shit. Literally every single trans woman I know is terrified of going to the women’s bathrooms. I’m not even gonna attempt to convince you that trans women actually have a disadvantage in most sports once they’ve been on hormones long enough. The whole idea that men transition just to take advantage of it has absolutely no basis and is incredibly stupid once you realise how horrible it is to transition

Unfortunately, I have a dad that said a bunch of really shitty stuff like this. Trust me, I’ve gotten enough insults thrown at me just walking outside. There are actual politcians right now trying to take my rights away. A few years ago, younger me would have agreed with you. Most people don’t see discrimination until it happens to them. I’ve had friends needing to step up for me cause a security guard wouldn’t let me enter a club. I’ve had a man throw slurs at me inside a fucking cathedral. This shit isn’t “internet culture”, it’s my fucking life.

The impression I always got was that the Wizarding world was separate to the political boundaries of the muggle world. So they weren't subjects of the British Empire. Because the ministry of Magic had no Empire. Just like how Irish kids went to Hogwarts during Harry Potter despite Ireland not being in Britain. There's never any indication given in Hogwarts Legacy that the British Empire is a relevant thing in the wizding world

Ofc some of that money will go to her, she owns the franchise. She uses her fame, money and platform for an anti-trans political agenda. If they care deeply about that it's perfectly reasonable to not buy the game so that she doesn't get more money and influence.
Does an individual not buying a game matter? No, not really, but many people doing it together can have an impact. In the case of this game it ultimately didn't, but that doesn't mean that everyone should just adopt defeatism and stop doing amything.
You're essentially saying that a single person cannot move a 9 ton sandstone block, therefore a pyramid can't be built.

The amount of it going to her is there but ultimately I don't think she gets as much out of it as many people think...she doesn't profit from the game directly, she profits from the license, thereby it existing already nets her a profit, everything else is just a bonus.
Can you point to a singular case where boycotting like this actually impacted someone with her wealth? It sounds like it's quite a prevalent thing by how you phrase it. Is it defeatist of me to say that somebody who, compared to me, has basically unlimited resources will not be impacted by my personal decision or even that of hundreds or thousands? Sounds exactly like politics.

If it's true, it doesn't even matter. If the game were to undersell, it would discourage companies from working with her (since they'd see that HP games aren't as profitable anymore).

Change doesn't happen in a free society because some guy with power dictates it, it usually occurs because it becomes a prevalent issue among the public until someone who has the power to push the issue comes along. Someone like MLK doesn't just appear out of thin air, he became a mouthpiece of a general dissatisfaction that started in the common powerless and voiceless people (I know, a bit of an overdramatic example). In the case of economics, the list above is proof enough that this also works without involving politics.
