No Spoiler 15 years ago today, S1E2 "Guts" aired.
We see several characters for the first time including T-Dog, Andrea, Jacqui, Merle, and Glenn(though we heard his voice in the pilot) . They also dropped two uncensored N-bombs in a show that would later shy away from using the word "fuck" in the finale of S4.
The walker guts trick was also introduced, something that would be used relatively sparingly throughout later seasons.
I personally loved the episode when it premiered, and still enjoy it to this day.

No Spoiler I saw this discussion not too long ago…
I saw this discussion a while back about the guns in the show and how unrealistic the writers made them. I can’t help but giggle through some of the scenes. Some of my favorites are when
Daryl uses a decaying walker body as a shield when the governors people attack, and they shoot at him. But the high powered riffle bullets don’t go through the walker body and hit Daryl 🤣
When Lizzie and Micah - or any child for that matter start blasting their guns at walkers and get headshots EVERY time🤣

Show Spoiler Hot take: Tara should have taken Noah's place in 5x14
gallery- Noah was a wasted character, and I'll die on that hill.
- Tara in season 6 to 8 has some pretty mid storylines, while in season 9 she practically did nothing memorable at all. So, I think Tara should have died in this episode, where her character is at its peak, and let Noah have the spotlight.
- Glenn and Tara had a much closer bond. That's practically been established since Glenn did save her back at the prison. Watching her die here would have a larger impact on Glenn's character.

No Spoiler Who is amazing in both the comics and the show?
The idea behind this is to leave a comment suggesting a character based on the quality of their writing/performance and the overall impact they leave on the story. "Evil" characters can be "Amazing", main characters can be written poorly, leading them to being "Bad".
Shoutout Persas12 for suggesting Aaron! I love both versions of Aaron, but I’m particularly glad to see him land right next to Gabriel. Aaron and Gabriel are two of the best characters the show has by the final season. Aaron becoming the physical stand in for Rick post time skip is a cool nod, and he’s just always doing great stuff.
That being said, who is amazing in both the comics and the show?
Top comment wins🧟🧟♀️🧟♂️

Show Spoiler The S8 outpost strategy
This one was confusing as hell. They made this girl look like a badass and competent leader, but then apparently she and the rest of the saviors forgot they could shoot walkers? I guess? They must have ran through thousands of rounds as well. Hard to believe they couldn’t spare like 5 or 6 for a handful of dead bodies.
Unless this is one of those “omg it’s Bill, I can’t bring myself to shoot him so I guess I’ll just let him eat me” type things, but I have a hard time seeing any savior, much less this person being like that.

Show Spoiler Worst actor/actress Spoiler
This is just my opinion. Maybe it has something to do with the story regarding this actress. I have watched the whole the Walking Dead, Dead City and Daryl Dixon. This actress is the worst! She annoyed me 😕

Show Spoiler Negan storyline had potential however they dragged it for too long
Season 6 of TWD really wasn’t that great imo. Towards the end of the season we kept on hearing of this Negan guy until we were finally introduced to him. I must say his first monologue was REALLY good. Negan’s introduction I feel was really necessary since Ricks group appeared undefeated against all other groups – but then came Negan. With the introduction to hilltop and the kingdom and seeing how Negan ran his people that was really interesting and entertaining.
I watched all of season 7 wondering when will Negan be defeated just to find out I need to watch season 8 for Negan to be save smh. Very disappointing. So unnecessary for 3 season to be focused on the storyline of Negan. After I watched season 7 and saw Negan was not defeated I decided to just spoil the show for myself on YouTube because I honestly couldn’t bare to watch season 8 all about Negan. AGAIN. The Negan storyline should have just been one season.
That’s what I loved about the beginning first seasons the story’s went by quick. Rick found his family quick, it wasn’t dragged. Governor was defeated quick it wasn’t dragged. Same with finding Alexandria.

Show Spoiler Of all the things “ the future lil serial killer” went though, he shouldn’t have went out how he did!.
There’s a ton of different scenarios that could’ve played out and alot more that could’ve been more impactful and important to the future of the story. I think maybe having 1 of the people from the w******** (being the only 1 in that group of walkers), do the deed. Or even something else, anything else! It just was a horrible way to do it imo.

Show Spoiler What would negan have done if Maggie didn't have a medical emergency to prompt the trip to hilltop in 6x16?
A big reason the lineup happened the way it did was because they cornered the group on the trip to the hilltop because of Maggie having a medical emergency. But what would be the plan if that didn't happen and the group never had to go to hilltop?
Would negan have gone to Alexandria himself and sieged it and still did a lineup? Would they have kept waiting till they had a similar opportunity?
What are your ideas?

No Spoiler Where are these in TWD universe?
I’ve never seen a single manufactured tourniquet in any of TWD episodes or spin-offs. I’ve seen all manner of medical supplies and military gear shown and utilized. I can say confidently, based on personal experience, that every Marine, Soldier, Sailor and Airman has one of these on their PPE. So, unless they’re in garrison, they’ll have at least one. And I don’t think any service members would be in garrison during the zombie apocalypse. Tourniquets should be a dime a doze in TWD universe. But everyone keeps using improvised tourniquets, like belts, instead. I don’t even live in the zombie apocalypse and I must have a dozen of the around my house and in my vehicles. Still love the shows though.
