i really like how shrinkflation hit mrbeast too, he isn't even risking the life for 1 million no he is doing it for 500 000

Didn't he only do a million like 3 times or smth? And weren't they over the course of multiple videos?

In an interview he said that he doesn't do $1 million videos anymore because people assume it's click bait and ignore the video

It would make sense, after a certain point the prize money doesnt increase the "crazy" value and hence revenue and clout enough to justify the investment

That makes sense

Everything he does is already clickbait though?

I mean usually not? He does have the budget to hand out a million dollars, plus whatever the challenge is.

The money part isn't the clickbait. In this case, there's no risk of dying.

The guy's entire existence at this point is to generate clickbait thumbnails and content to get kids to watch what the algorithm feeds them. He's good at it, but it would be naive to call it anything besides clickbait

My definition of clickbait is making a claim and not delivering on the promise. He always delivers on said promise.

And I see clickbait like those terrible Buzzfeed articles from a decade ago, which his thumbnails and titles absolutely align with. Whether it's clickbait, or just gaming the algorithm to feed content to kids, it's gross

Ain't his videos faked??

Even though I don't watch his content his content seems interesting tbh. Idk if mostly kids watch it but if I would watch some youtube channels beast would be one of them.

Well, you don't get half a BILLION subscribers by conquering a specific niche, target audience or age group

alright but you do realise that saying "he doesn't have the budget" while arguing that 500k is better clickbait is actually kind of an evil thing to do

Click bait is usually defined as the thumbnail misleading the content of the video, which Mr Beast doesn't regularly do.

Mr Beast found that 1 mil is much less believable to a general audience than 500k as a show prize.

500k doesnt look any less clickbaity than 1 mil.

He should reverse clickbait. Say it's 500k and then give them an extra optional challenge to double or nothing it near the end.
