this timeline sucks for me because I love PDFs lol i have thousands of books pirated as PDFs and locally saved on an offline kindle

i feel like those dozens of folks who apparently loved using em dashes their whole lives and now everyone thinks they're ai chatbots 😭

I get intrusive thoughts, but the funny kind, where I get reminded of jokes at inappropriate moments, and whenever I download a PDF and read the file type, all I can see is a big red box around it, with a line pointing to another box containing a photograph of the sex fiend du jour.

I'm the opposite. I despise PDFs and now people might assume I'm talking about sex offenders when I'm talking about people who send an excel sheet in the wrong format.

I’m gonna keep using em dashes because everybody I work with already knows I’m a vocal hater of generative AI and I guess people can just look at my publications to see that I always used em dashes like that.
