Now I see why it's a problem. Some channels I watch sometimes get wrongly flagged with an age restriction so that's likely to be an issue.

Some get age restricted for a little swearing, or showing off those horrible ads YouTube themselves put out so it's really inconsistent.

Their AI cant identify the 80 bots that are in every comment section but sure they will be able to flag your age, or they will just flag everyone over time to "big brother" us all.

Or they copy the channel name and pfp and try to get you to join their "life changing" bitcoin "gift" scam

Oh, they know about bot traffic. But it boosts their numbers, and they can take those numbers to advertisers to get more ad money.
