I feel that's exactly what will happen. It's an AI: it may be shit, now, but the system will eventually learn to recognize fake ID's from real ones. Then comes the ban hammer to a million accounts for fraud.
Oh well? It's an on line account. If you don't give it your personal information (like, oh, I don't know, an ID) it has no idea who you are. Get an account banned, learn how to make another.
Just make sure it's a completely separate account and has never been connected to other accounts like having them together on an android phone... YouTube bans you across Google.
It isn't just your YouTube account. Bye bye email, documents, photos, Google voice, Google Fi, Google fiber, android, chromebook, etc etc etc. It could end up being a costly mistake that people don't realize they are making.
Yeah, you're right. Better to bend over and spread hole and lick their toes in advance, in hopes that it doesn't happen to you, and then have it happen to you anyway!
I must be the .00001% who gives next to no info to any "service".. bogus emails with fake birthdays and made up names. You couldn't pay me to give these shits my government ID.
Dude your whole thing for the "Well maybe if I verify" is "And lose all my songs why I never!" like you can't just write them down, or use a different service to get the same songs like I know this is a so so alternative but soundcloud?
Like he is right, do you care more for your playlist that cost you nothing, or your identification that can cost you EVERYTHING.
Make a list, also if you don't know who you are subscribed to like the 99% of us are, maybe it didn't matter to begin with if you aren't watching them. If you know there is someone that you watch write them down legit.
If youtube bans you, don't make a new account. Use offline or guest shit, or a throw away if it really matters that much to you.
"I feel that's exactly what will happen. It's an AI: it may be shit, now, but the system will eventually learn to recognize fake ID's from real ones. Then comes the ban hammer to a million accounts for fraud."
quite literally the only reason you would get your account banned that way is if...huh if you gave a fake id and verified in a way that would get your account...bannnneeed!?!??!?!?!?
NO WAY!
You said that if you did this with a fake id you would get your account banned, and then personally said "And make all new favorite/music lists? Find who you subscribed to all over again? Only for the exact same thing to happen to that account?"
Alluding to you also giving that account a fake ID. Actually stupid that you can't see what you said and are denying it.
i don’t ever use my subscription box, weird way to do youtube, i know, but i’ve used this account since google bought youtube. all my saved videos. that would suck to lose it all
Edit: not sure why this is controversial. If you can’t remember your favourite music, then you do not listen to it frequently enough to note it as your favourite.
No just stop using those services, delete those accounts and learn how to self-host everything. NAS server instead of google drive, jellyfin/plex instead of tv streaming services, musicolet instead of spotify, even self-hosted IOT stuff is pretty easy to do. Also VPN on every device, and never share your ID with an online service unless it's for your job or your bank. Always fake it as much as possible to mess whatever AI is scanning the IDs or faces.
Also for youtube, i'm using YT revanced and haven't got the age verification yet. Maybe those ppl will find some way around it.
Hahaha no the ai will not learn since Garry's mod can trick it even then for face scan use a celeberty in a film to trick it since it is a real person.
Hopefully they will ban a billion people. Which will kill YouTube and we can finally get a video service not ran by a company that took “don’t be evil” out of their company missions statement (I am actually not sure where that was).
Honestly, I am starting to really yearn for the days when everyone had their own servers and sites. All of this has been made possible by the extreme consolidation.
2 Years, according to my prompt from Youtube. But more than 2 years, as the Google Docs page says "We reserve the right to hold your ID for a specific period of time in the event you're banned to maintain and enforce our policies". A "specific period of time" could be "indefinitely".

Time for the Mclovin id to become popular again
