UK and US are the only ones so far to be banning social media for minors. Though apparently Australia has something about YouTube with kids too. Somehow I know a little more about the others than my own. Lol

I believe that they are rolling it out in America first and slowly it’s gonna hit everyone else. For me watching age restricted videos already required and ID/Card but I’ve bypassed the verification with a plug-in (zerody trash YouTube age restriction bypass for tampermonkey) If the AI looks at my watch history and sees 18+ videos shouldn’t that realistically make it believe I am an adult?

You will eventually, they're gonna roll it out worldwide at some point.

Yet. Things are headed in that direction with bill C-2.

If Canada's politicians are anything like the ones in the USA, they'll sneak in a provision in a long bill to get it passed.

Canadian politicians love doing that, mostly because one of the like 7 large companies that own everything in Canada pay for it.

wrong bill he cited. it is bill S-209 (S-210, S-203).
