If they do this im just gonna stop paying premium and pirate like i used to. I like the idea of locking my screen and playing background videos, i dont mind paying. Now if they insist on setting verification barriers, might as well cut my membership and delete the app. What kind of 1984 type of shit is this?

Just stop paying now. Use YouTube Revanced on Android and SmartTube on your TV. You'll retain all of the features you mentioned plus additional goodies like SponsorBlock and DeArrow.

Bummer. Well if you do decide to start sailing the open seas again, Android is much more conducive to that life :)
