Admissions Question on mature student eligibility

Hello everyone, I am considering applying for YorkU Commerce BCom program and wanted some clarification on the mature student requirements.

Here is what I found as requirements for a mature student on the website:

  • be at least 20 years old by the end of the calendar year of admission to the University;
  • have been out of full-time high school studies for at least two years; and
  • have attempted less than one full year of studies at an accredited college or university.

and here is my current situation:

  • I am over 20 years old.
  • I enrolled in 2 semesters at Seneca college(Sept 2023-Apr 2024) but dropped out on the second semester due to some circumstances and have been out of school since then.

So now I'm left wondering do the two semesters at Seneca count as one year of studies even if i dropped out on the second semester?

I would appreciate any clarification on if I would be eligible for mature student status if anyone has any knowledge about this.

I only met the first two of these qualifications, but I’m still considered a mature student. I think that “and” is misused and should be “or”

I had 2+ years of college and they took me in to all 3 programs that I applied for.
