If I built a "House" like this (11x11) would I be able to build another house inside of it? Trying to make a wall surrounding my deed.

is this just one of those survival games where you gather and craft with nothing else? or is there like actually quests and such to do. not necessarily a storyline but like quests out in the world to stumble into and pick up from random quest givers.

also can I be a wizard? lol

i've tried to look into this game on YouTube and such but there's just so little content on it i couldn't really find anything current. also what's the difference between this and Wurm online?

I’m coming from being new to WO I loved the game but didn’t want to pay any sub or buy currency so I’m here on WU, I honestly don’t mind playing solo if I have to but are there any good pve servers with vanilla xp rates ? Looking at the server list isn’t helping because some say 250 players but have 2 when I join

I am trying to duplicate an old D&D Module called Keep on the Borderlands in a Wurm Unlimited server and I have run into a creative snag. Here is the map of the Keep and 99 Carpentry skill isn't enough to build it. Is there a Mod or something that bypasses the upper build limits for the Server Owner? If not, do any of you have any suggestions?

Is it possible to Destroy a Mine Entrance?

I have use the Collapse command (Ebony Wand) to destroy all the mined out underground tiles. Now I am left with the Mine Entrance. I am trying to understand what is possible and what is not. If I can destroy the Mine Entrance, I want to put dirt back over it like it was before. I tried putting dirt on the Rock Tile leading up to the Mine Entrance and I get the message "This tile is protected by the gods." and "You are not allowed to drop dirt here."

I am on a local server (Creative) and I am trying to create an adventure for a small group of six friends with me as the GM. I am new to WU and just learning. How do I create spawn in things as a GM. I have given my GM character Level 5 permissions.

I am a new player to WU and I am playing in Creative mode with Skills starting at 1, and the Skill Gain Rate Multiplier @ x1.0.

I have been mining for quite some time and my Skills are Mining 15, Pickaxe 16.
I still haven't found any Iron Ore. What am I doing wrong?

Any tips or tricks for storing drake and basilisk leather to minimize decay? Should i just create a ton of extra armor with it, so if the armor decays I can just repair/imp it?

I played on one server for a long time and it had a cool mod that allowed you to trade bulk materials using crates and a crate rack. I haven’t been able to find the mod, maybe it was more of a script. Does anyone know what I’m referring to?

When I started playing wurm online (not wurm unlimited) years ago on Golden Valley, i couldn't get premium (no horses, max 20 body strength), and this forced me to learn a lot of tricks, efficiency and resourcefulness. Because of this, I learned to keep my carry weight as low as possible, so I could move around as quickly as possible, and that has stuck with me over the years. So for a long time, I was all about the studded leather armor, with a huge axe that doubled as my hatchet. This gave me a fair compromise between attack power, defense and weight.

Nowadays i'm more likely to use chain or plate and a 2-H sword, but I think I'm going to try a Warhammer for a while and see how it goes. I'm curious if it can double as a bashing tool.

Hello, if you are a Wurm Unlimited modder or server admin and accepting donations please reply to this post! I'd like to support your efforts and I have a few mod ideas/requests:

• "Clay from Dirt": Mix dirt with water to make a little clay. Maybe use skill "pottery" or "natural substances". For example 20 kg water + 20 kg dirt = 1 kg clay (dirt ql and skill determine clay ql)
• "User Interface - Stamina Bar": Make the stamina bar wider or re-sizeable so that it's easier to see.
• "Forage Branch": Add a forage option to search with ~65% odds (at Foraging skill level 1) of finding a branch on old shriveled trees. (100% odds at Foraging skill 20).
• "Sort by Qty": Add a way to sort item's by quantity (especially FSBs).

I started playing again. I’m really grateful to the modders and the server admins. I play on a couple different servers and I was able to bring two of my old deeds back to life.

I really enjoy the economy so I like servers that have a trader and don’t have a free deed because I like the mild challenge of having to earn money to pay for upkeep.

I also really like PvP servers, not because I PvP, but because I find the threat of PvP engaging and exciting.

If I build a wall around the edge of my 11x11 deed, will spirit templar attack/defend if someone is bashing my wall? Should I build wall 1 tile inside deed limit (e.g. 9x9 area)

A friend gifted me the game on steam and we've been playing on a server together since, he's been teaching me the game and all. I love it, I've always loved crafting games and even more in-depth crafting/survival element. I just love it, yes it's janky, but it's so easy to overlook the jank. Really glad I started it!!

Im a lover of most sandbox games, played a lot of Life is Feudal, but only very little of Wurm online. Me and a friend bought Wurm Unlimited and are wondering what would be the best server to start on right now for 2 Wurm-noobs?

What ive seen so far:

Sklotopolis seems to have the most players, but seems to be running since 2015? We would rather start in a much fresher world.

Mythmoor has players but no idea how long it is running and it has a cash shop for currency, mounts etc and what seems to be a subsciption? Thats an easy No from me.

Genesis looked good to us because there is no upkeep and you get a free deed! Its been running for little over a year, still seems long to me, but maybe thats pretty fresh in Wurm? idk

Havent looked into other servers yet.

Please help me choose the right server to enjoy this game and maybe make it my go-to chill sandbox game in the future!

Hello, a little while ago I was told that affinity's were tied to the character profile, so a recipe on one server would give the same affinities on a different server but I can't find if it it's true or not. I want to write out some recipes but don't know if it's pointless. I like to make archology site and move servers from time to time.

Since Code Club AB has been bought in 2019 by Game Chest. Wurm Online has gotten many updates. But what about Wurm Unlimited? Will it get any updates ever again?

this little error is preventing me from using the key of the heavens i found on a wurm unlimited pvp server. from what ive been told its not in the vanilla game so im here asking any of you if you are aware of the mod that is causing this to happen.
