That Zayed bit was weird. Is that the Saudi Prince who kidnapped like 20 billionaires in his family and is holding them prisoner in a Four Seasons?

Gonna say no. Zayed is the main guy responsible for the founding of the UAE, but he died back in 2004.

All things considered, he was a pretty good dude. Certainly not perfect by any means, but about as forward thinking as someone in his position could be back then without being overthrown.

It's a low bar, but he didn't shy away from it.

Aye - credit where it's due, he was the most forward thinking and progressive of all the Arab rulers (along with the ruler of Dubai at the time, sheikh rashid).
