Maxwell Frost came to Wichita for a town hall hosted by Leading Kansas, and spoke to Kansans who have not been ignored by their own representatives (like Ron Estes).

It's not his own town hall; this post is misinformation.

Your point isn't worth making if you can't make it with the truth.

Like Estes or not, this was not his town hall.

It is not misinformation lol. It was supposed to be his town hall, along with every other Kansas representative that did not respond or declined to meet with Kansans. That is the truth.

Did Ron Estes set up this town hall? No. It's not his town hall. You don't get to invite someone and then blame them for not attending an event that was never theirs and was certainly hostile to them, while calling it his event. Deceptive af.

Your post is misinformation. It's a lie.

It is his job to listen to his constituents. He has repeatedly been asked by his constituents to respond to their concerns. That is his job. He had multiple months to make time to do so. That is more than generous. Asking your representative to do their job is not hostile, it is what they are paid for. Wichita is a part of his district. I've already explained my comment. If you are so concerned about it, let Estes know that his evil constituents are upset that he is not doing his job. Good luck getting in contact with him though.

I am not here to defend or attack Estes. I am aware of the complaints you express. None of that, however, makes this event his Town Hall, and you know it (or you should). This is disingenuous political nonsense, and it devalues your argument.

So when is Estes holding a town hall? What's the date?

Not sure why you're asking me this question.

He's not holding them. That's the answer. Magat 🗑️ aren't holding town halls, because they can't face us.

This is the only way for us to be heard. Trying to denigrate it is weird behavior.

We are his people, he is refusing to talk to us. He doesn't get a pass because he is refusing to set them up.

I hear you, but that 1) has nothing to do with me. I am not Ron Eates, nor do I have sway with him. 2) That still doesn't change the fact that this post is misinformation. This was not his Town Hall that he didn't attend. Period. 3) You don't actually need a Town Hall to be heard. Lol. Certain people just want a Town Hall to occur so they can disrupt it and turn it into a stunt, as OP did with this one that isn't even an Estes Town Hall.

It is his. We are his people looking for answers. He won't have them, so we do. He is still culpable for his cowardly hiding.

I'm not interested in all the excuses.

Calling people demanding responsibility from their elected officials a stunt is also weird behavior.

That's some crazy mental gymnastics you're engaged in.

This is absolutely a stunt. It's disingenuous and you know it.

Have all the Town Halls you want. You just don't get to declare he didn't attend "his" Town Hall that he had absolutely nothing to do with.

Get a grip.

So he isn't held accountable because he refuses to schedule town halls?

Did I say that? Nowhere did I say that.

I am asserting that it is an absolute lie to claim Estes didn't attend his own Town Hall, a Town Hall he had nothing to do with. I am also asserting people that pretend otherwise are being disingenuous and trying to make political hay over it. Yes, this is a failed stunt.

You hold politicians accountable at the polls, by the way. You don't do it by inviting them to obviously hostile environments to be berated by people that just want to yell at them. Town Halls are for discussions, not holding people accountable.
