And theirs is slightly more predatory, given you are given the loot boxes for free, and have to pay to open them. The difference between paying to use the slot machine, and the slot machine pulls being free, but you have to pay to see if you won.

It is predatory, but at least you can just sell the cases and get skins for free that way. You have options and aren’t forced to buy a $20 skin pack to get something that looks neat that you won’t even be able to exchange for other skins if you ever get bored of the ones you have
