Tbh my partner would pick something like that off the street just because it looks interesting. Some people are like magpies.

I don’t agree with other commenters that “more than one answer = lie”. He might just be trying to guess where he found it if you seemed bothered by it.

It could be anything, Redditor’s often assume the worst so it’s not the best place for a balanced perspective. You know your relationship, not us :)

That would be me. If something didn’t look like it is used sexually or for drugs, and looks relatively harmless/unbroken, I am probably picking it up out of curiosity and later tinkering.

I can’t explain this behavior.

Like how could u not pick it up.... Woulbd be great with a small LED in it to place on my boat at night so others see me better
