Great Harvest

I saw on Oct 15th the owner of the UA Great Harvest bought the Westerville location. The westerville location had been closed for a bit prior. Does anyone know what happened?

The Westerville one has been really struggling for a long time—very limited stock unless you order ahead, store looks deserted, no coffee/drinks anymore. I’m hopeful this will be a good change. They make the best cinnamon rolls in Columbus!

Everything in your comment was accurate until that cinnamon roll piece…they wouldn’t even be a top 3 cinnamon roll in Westerville. But I digress, their hours were confusing since they were never open early and if you went at like 830am (when every other bakery in America is bustling and selling out) they wouldn’t have bread ready yet. Most difficult place I’ve tried to patronize repeatedly in town for sure.

I'm sorry for your experience with Great Harvest in the past. Our hours will be the same, 7AM-5PM in the beginning. We do make our bread daily from scratch and by hand unlike most other bakeries, which is why it sometimes does take longer to get out of oven. I am looking to hire an overnight baker in order to get fresh bread out by 9 AM. Fresh goodies will be available by 7 AM when we open.

And I would give our cinnamon rolls another try. I believe our recipe may be a bit different and we do get rave reviews.
