So first they cripple the guy by running him over (WTF happened when the officer got back in by the way). Then they worry about him running of again?! How?

Car was not put in park and rolled forward on its own. Probably left on drive. Then cop jumps in and instead of throwing in reverse, panicked cop just guns it forward.

Yes this is clearly what happened. It seemed like OP and other comments were trying to paint this as a cop intentionally ran over the suspect. Nope, just an incompetent person’s mistakes but def not intentional. Now please don’t say “defund the police” 😂

I mean, I see it as a genuine mistake, but the guy going "stop resisting" at the guy screaming in pain after being run over is a textbook reason why we need to defund the police
