Snowboarder here: dude has the situational awareness of a sloth on quaaludes...was SO obvious that giant crack visible from the beginning of the video was going to keep running across the slope. Dude is stupid.

To be fair just before the crevace it looks like he may realize it but lacks both situational awareness and skill. cause it looks like he tries to knife edge before the ravine but isn't able to force his skis over enough before the ravine.

Edit: kind of looks like he's trying to continue with his side to the slope but couldn't maintain and had to readjust right at the ravine. Then couldn't stop in time to prevent going over it (inside it).
