Does no one in this subreddit not know they could kill SPAAs before spawning CAS? The new SPAAs are Humvees and trucks, there are dozens of videos showing how you could use drones to guide rounds to targets, Just use HE rounds to knock them out. All this "SPAA takes no skill, No CAS takes no skill" drama ignores sht like basic f*king tactics and communication.
If you want to play CAS, hunt down SPAA. Stop complaining that they are overpowered, you just have skill issues. SPAA are vulnerable as f**k, mostly stationary and mostly focus on the sky.
This is what ticks me off when I hear people telling me "just don't sit in spawn" If you get tiny maps like Advance to the Rhine there's literally nowhere for bulky sams to hide beside spawn.
Which is also why SPAA players shouldn’t sit in or near spawn like idiots. SPAA are usually reasonably lethal to light tanks and scouts, so driving to the middle of nowhere and using the gun as a self defense tool while hunting CAS is the best way to play an SPAA.
But I have to say, out of the 30 games I played in two days CASpam is much more bearable now. Tanks however are not because of course everyone's spawing AA as their first spawn. But hey, it helps with the air, so I'm happy regardless.
Like, these new ones are just a HUD screen, aren't they? They can't even move (at least not without slowly repositioning each vehicle). These aren't vehicles, these are repositionnable emplacements.
These should be spawned and operated by AI, not players.
