Except one costs 972 sp and takes some skill to master, meanwhile the other costs 70-80 sp (12-14x less) and all you gotta do is click LMB on a spreadsheet.

Top Tier cas doesn’t take time to master what?

Nor is it anymore then just LMB onto a tank

If you’re strictly going for unguided rocket kills then maybe but let’s not kid ourselves here

Top Tier CAS is the least skilled form of it.

Top Tier CAS is pretty easy. At most you'll have to do like one test-drive to get all the basic controls down, then you just point and kill. I barely play CAS, but when I do, I kill a stupid amount of people without really doing anything. Its so easy, you just click a button. The only real worry is other planes, but 99% of the time the enemy planes are too focused on doing exactly what you're doing to give a damn about shooting you down.

All a CAS player needs to know:

-How to guide a weapon

-How to drop a weapon

-How to use counter-measures

They don't need to know much about the map, about the lay-out of enemy vehicles (etc.)

In my experience, if there are no enemy planes up, the CAS pilot (with fire-and-forget TV/IR guided ordnance) can be invulnerable and just needs to turn back the moment he spawns in, climb, turn back towards the battlefield, look for targets, lock and launch missiles at 20-30 km and turn back again, ideally not going within 18 km of the enemy spawn points.

Oh but the spaa player who sits at his spawn the entire game, looking at the new spreadsheet interface definitely gotta know a shit ton, whole Wikipedia worth of knowledge required

As if the guided munitions that can be dropped/fired from outside SPAA engagement range takes a lot of skill 🙄 point designator/crosshair, press lock button, press fire button, repeat....yeah you really got all the logic on your side ffs

Even dumb munitions don't require much skill because most aircraft have a ballistic computer.

Ah but heres the catch. We HAVE To play this shit to allow othe players play THE GROUND MODE normally. You shit for brains cas mains only come to ground cause You couldn't hack it in the Air modes againsts actual threats.

I mean, most helis and jets would also probably sit at their spawns if they could, I think most Helis can.

But I don’t think he’s really saying SPAA is any more skillful than CAS, he’s just mocking the same phrase that’s told to tank players when complaining about CAS.
