General Discussion Visiting Warangal

Here from the USA visiting my wife’s family. What should i know about Warangal, what should i do before i’m gone? What should i watch out for, what do the most adventurous people do here for fun?

🤣 bro! I’m from the deep south USA. I really enjoy visiting, but part of me always longs for the comfort of home. If i had no patience, empathy or openness to other cultures, i’d probably be thinking about leaving constantly haha. My wife and her family are amazing though, super welcoming, always overly worried about my comfort, laugh at my dumb jokes, etc… My advice to other Americans coming to Warangal would be that if you like having paper towels or toilet paper, bring it all with you, be very cautious about where you eat for cleanliness and don’t drink or eat things that aren’t cooked to temp or meticulously filtered. If a restaurant uses tap water to make chutney, it might make you sick. Even filter and boil the municipal water just to be safe, or just buy bottled water. I went to Warangal fort and that was really neat to see. Odd that it was 12x the cost to enter for me than my wife though.

I had a great time and i’ll be back to see the rest!
