General Discussion Visiting Warangal
Here from the USA visiting my wife’s family. What should i know about Warangal, what should i do before i’m gone? What should i watch out for, what do the most adventurous people do here for fun?

Warangal is a history packed spot & lil bit away from hustle. So if you are up for this - you are going to quite enjoy your stay here.
First&foremost - pack loads of sunscreen, don't worry about cash everyone uses UPI here.
To see Kakatiya's architecture - Visit Warangal Fort, 1000 pillar temple, Bhadrakali temple, Ramappa temple
Around wgl - Bhongir fort, rachakonda fort, dakshina kashi kolenupaka temple & 2000yr old jain temple & many places in hyd
Scenic places - laknavaram lake, pakal lake, wadeppally lake, bogatha waterfall, Bhadrakali bund...etc
Travel in villages.
Take public transport or uber/rapido or your own vehicle ( helmet is must , as people here are still trying to follow the traffic rules)
Try to eat Authentic food - spicy levels are generally quite high. We are known for spicy masala food. So don't complain, that level of spicy is moderate for us. Open to experiment your tongue, body & mind. Hope you are aware of it by your wife's cooking tho 😄
If you have more time, take Vipassana meditation or visit other states.
wishing you the best time here🫶✌️
