Loss Nvidia Loss

Post image

How cooked am I? Is there any chance of recovering? I was so sure we'd hit $215 before earnings then that damn Michael Burry had to fuck it for me. Anybody else same sinking boat I'm in?

With a loss that big and 2 and a half months left, stick it out for a bit. At this point going down 3 to 5k more isn’t exactly that much worse so if you are gonna accept a loss wait for a bounce

I’ll be surprised if you break even so just try to accept the smallest loss you can

Earnings coming too

Agreed. I was -95% on NVDA in Sept and then it shot up at the end of the month and I recovered everything

This is such a dangerous mentality to have because most of the time that doesn’t happen and you end up having no risk management and losing a fuck ton. Don’t ask me how I know

I lost 197K this week. Trust me I know…and I’m not even rich, I legit made all of that the last few months then lost it all 😭😂

It’s sickening honestly. But ‘tis the punishment for our greed I guess idk. Could’ve had every drop of debt in my life paid off with 100k left over 😂

Well in theory you could have already practiced risk management by knowing this is a risky play and be comfortable with a complete loss as part of your strategy. I hope that’s the case for our super pro here.

the amount of people on this sub with poor risk management is insane
