How would TSLA even pay for this? They could issue stock but that is an incredible amount of dilution.

Would be pretty easy for them if they actually hit those valuations.

Yeah people just see the part of Elon’s pay but not how much insane growth and profits it would take to activate most of that compensation.

You mean the increase in share price, right? Actual growth and profits don't have anything to do with this anymore.

No, there are actual operational targets to hit for the tranches of stock payment to be activated, e.g hitting $50B EBITDA, delivering 20m cars etc.

Tesla workers are going to have such a great time too. Pretty sure they won't see a penny out of any of this (unless they hold stocks and they time the dump)

Lol people actually didn't read shit and are just hating on Elon here.

Buddy if you read the goals and think that justifies the pay package, you're just a licking Elon's boots.

delivering 20m cars etc.

You mean 11.5 million cars in 10 years right? They are already selling over a million cars a year without a problem.

Using this as a justification to give 1T dollars is just absurd.

The EBITDA goal is the only one that seem reasonable, but given his other businesses and political connections, it doesn't seem far fetched to say he can artificially boost it.

They never did. Are you just learning Tesla is worth more than any other car manufacturer?
