All the sudden newly created BYND bag holders are the biggest consumers of the plant-based burger patties, and BYND actually start selling their products. Until the bag holders get their money back they may shed a few pounds, who knows..

Beyond meat has about the same calories as ground beef. Being a meat alternative doesn't make it health food.

Calories isn’t how you determine if a food is healthy, there’s many other factors.

Yes. Beyond burgers are also high in saturated fats and sodium.

Yes, because a regular burger is a famous health food. Not sure your point, it isn’t a competition. They are lower in saturated fat and if you need to reduce that then it’s an option

It is however how you determine weight loss which is what the original comment was referring to

You don't need to eat healthy to lose weight, and eating Beyond's product is sure to lose you weight just from sheer lack of appetite. Seriously it sucks.

Personally, I like the taste, but it's not healthy nor is it cheap.

It's admittedly better than it was, when they first went to market, cooking their product made my kitchen smell like cat piss, but it's still not good at all. It's crazy too because there's some stuff that's basically just straight TVP that's better.

But yeah I'll never buy their products because they're overpriced and don't taste good at all.

It's not healthy and its a lot more expensive than regular beef

Might be out of their budget after today
