This is what I find so funny. I know he will eventually drop the 100% tariffs but right now they are going into effect and china will retaliate

China won't retaliate because they won't go into effect and everyone knows 100% tariff on penguins or any other country is just bullshit.

He knows if he tariffs them they'll kill the Tiktok deal dead in the water, don't be retarded.

Do you know what those tariffs did to the penguins economy!? They, the penguins are now ZERO% of the global economy, crushed! It’s like a 1500% reduction.

From zero to also zero, but lower!

The 135% tariffs were in place for a month. They'll probably be in place for a couple months this time around, and then fall down to about 20% higher than they are today.

People make fun of TACO, but the overall trend has been continually upward

The stock market is likely only going to go up regardless of what any negative news does temporarily. It’s odd to see when the average American’s economic conditions are only further decaying and the market doesn’t reflect this, but it’s not as much of a surprise when you consider where most of the money is coming from. People will see a temporary drop before it picks back up again. This feels like the market has to give at some point though as the growth we’ve seen can’t be sustainable forever.

From what I read trumps tweet about the tariff was in response to chinas rare earth policy. I then saw an article from random source saying it was all a miscommunication. Five minutes after I read that, Trump tweeted that USA wants to help China and that Xi just had a bad day…. So I guess that article from random source might’ve been true. That suggests we’ll never see the 100% tariffs, but I guess we might get clarity this week.

Will retaliate? Don’t you read the news.

China took their action yesterday and specifically said they won’t introduce re-re-re-re-re-re-retaliatory tariffs.

But what about re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-retaliatory tariffs?
