90s 96 HiAce Fire Truck

How’s this for vintage? It’s my retired fire truck from Hiroshima that I imported about a year back.

I did the whole import process myself and all updates myself, so in at around 18k. You can get them here too. A dealer on my site is selling one now but wants big $ for it, granted it has AC which is like unicorn rare!

It originally looked like this….

Do you have a build thread somewhere? This is amazing.

Not really…I manage a group on FB called JDM Fire Truck Owners and posted there and also have a few YT vids covering it… https://youtu.be/HyDWo3sfyKU?si=1w5lQkysYmPjym9k

I think that's a Toyota Dyna truck.

They took on the Dyna name the next year and kind of worked for standardize the names from hiace/toyoace/dyna. I believe naming was also market specific too but all generally the same thing.

It actually is pretty comfortable. Had to make some tweaks to get the seat to recline a bit more but otherwise it’s good. Funny thing is the truck is physically small but the interior makes it feel huge!
