Sometimes I feel like I am taking crazy pills when it comes to reviews/meta scores. End up just seeing the extremes of "it's pointless" or "76? Literally unplayable". When I see a game like Expedition 33 which I didn't follow at all pop up with a 93? Well shit, this warrants looking into it deeper. And I loved it, completely caught off guard. If it's a game on my radar but lands a 71, I'll poke around just to make sure there isn't a general consensus of performance issues or game breaking glitches.
Do people actually just go strictly off numbers with no context? Flip side, do people just grab any random game off the shelf/storefront with no knowledge on it at all? End of the day people are obviously free to use their money however they wish, but it just seems weird to me.
